Situated at the back section of the park behind the giant sorcerer's hat, this area of the Studios was formerly home to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Play It. However, once this attraction closed, this section of Hollywood Studios became known as Pixar Place and is now currently home to all your favorite Toy Story characters.
Instructions
1. Ride the newest ride at the Studios, Toy Story Midway Mania. Join the Toy Story gang in 4-D on this multiple game-playing ride. Similar in style to the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom, this one has the added element of 3-D glasses to put you further into the action! Because it is the newest ride, lines are phenomenal at all times of the day and FastPasses can sell out within an hour of the park being open. Arrive as early as you can to either ride or obtain a FastPass, otherwise, it's likely you'll just have to set aside 60 to 80 minutes to wait.
2. Head across from Toy Story Midway Mania to meet and greet Buzz Lightyear, Woody and sometimes the Green Army men at the Toy Story character greeting location. Be sure to check the Times Guide insert inside of your park map to see when the characters will be available.
3. Consider fulfilling a snack craving while in Pixar Place. The Hey Howdy Hey Take Away offers frozen beverages, ice cream, chips, sodas and bottled water for light snacking options.
