Prepare For A Run

This article is specifically dedicated to those who want to properly prepare for a run without injury, while at the same time maximizing the potential of their workout.

1. Whenever a run begins, make sure that you have proper running shoes. Not only do that have to be specifically designed for running, they also have to be tied tight in order to secure your feet to ensure safety and utility while running.


2. Water is a very important factor when it comes to running. Being hydrated can make a big difference, just the same way that being dehydrated can undermine your performance. Basically, make sure that you always have enough water because it can only help you, and almost every time make you a better runner.


3. Stretching is crucial when running. If you do not stretch, you can pull a muscle, or even worse injure yourself entirely to the point where running is not even an option. I recommend stretching EVERY time you run because it avoids injury, and it also makes sure that you get the most out of your stride and that you are loose enough to perform the motions necessary to make the most out of the your run.


4. Whenever you are running, always maintain a healthy mentality. Stay positive, no matter what. A negative mind brings forth negative results. Accordingly, a positive mind brings forth positive results. Never go past your limits, but make sure that you always stay open while you are running because you will be able to reach your potential.
