Play The 10 Fingers Ice Breaker Game

Getting people that don't know one another to interact with each other at a party or event can be an awkward task. Party games that encourage people to interact with one another, known as ice breakers, are terrific ways to get the party going. The Ten Fingers Ice Breaker Game is best if you use at least eight (8) people. However, this game can most definitely play with less. Ten Fingers is also a terrific game to play if you are a teacher trying to get your students to interact with one another on the first day of class, or even if you are a boss trying to do a team-building exercise. Ten Fingers is a great way for people to learn more about one another as well as find out what they have in common with other people.

Instructions

Play the Ten Fingers Ice Breaker Game

1. Have all of the guests stand in a circle and hold both hands in front of them, spreading out all 10 fingers.

2. Starting with the youngest person, have that person say one thing about himself.

3. Continue around the circle in a clockwise order. Do not repeat a statement that has already been used. Everyone should close one finger for each time someone says something about herself that is also true for that person. Once you have no outstretched fingers remaining, step out of the circle.
