To play popular EA games online, such as the Madden series or the Sims, you'll need to register for an EA Online account. Once your account is created, you can log in to the system and engage in online gameplay. Having an EA Online account also lets you keep track of your gameplay statistics online. Establishing an EA Online account is free. You must be 13 or older to register for an EA Online account.
Instructions
1. Visit the EA Online signup page (see the Resources section of this article).
2. Type your email address. You'll need your email address to log in.
3. Create a four-character (minimum) password. Enter it again for confirmation.
4. Choose your date of birth from the drop-down box. Select your country and your language.
5. Determine whether you want to receive marketing communication from EA. If you don't, deselect the check from the "opt-in" boxes.
6. Create your EA Online ID. The ID needs to be four to 16 characters. It can contain numbers and letters. Click "Check Availability" to make sure it's available. If it's not, select another ID.
7. Read over EA's terms and conditions carefully. Click "I Accept" to create your EA Online account. Be sure to write down your ID and password for future reference.
