Sell Trophy Heads From The 1970s

A trophy boar head is a nice decoration.

Trophy heads are timeless. That is why a perfect 8-point buck head mounted on a plaque from the 1970s is still just as viable for sale as one from the past or the present. Many people buy these heads because they enjoy displaying trophy heads in their homes or offices. Trophy heads can bring a certain feel or aura to a room. Hanging up a mounted trophy head in a country cabin can give it a more woodsy or hunting lodge type feel instantly.

Instructions

1. Set the trophy head out at a garage sale. Make a price that you think will be fair for both you and the buyer.

2. Visit local sporting goods stores. You may be able to speak with employees and patrons about selling your trophy head. You may also be able to pin up a flier for the sale.

3. List the item in a local newspaper's classifieds section. In the listing include what the trophy head is, what kind of condition it is in, a price and a phone number you can be reached at.

4. Place the item on an online classifieds website. Many online classifieds websites allow you to list items by region. When publishing the classified article, include a description of the head, price, a recent picture of the head and phone number or email address that you can be reached at.
