Run With Qwop

QWOP is a ragdoll physics-based Flash running simulator that you use by directly controlling the leg muscles of an athlete. You control the athlete's left and right thighs using the "Q" and "W" keys and you control the calves with the "O" and "P" keys, which is where the game gets its name, "QWOP." The game is notoriously difficult, and getting your athlete to run, or even walk, takes patience, timing and a lot of practice.

Instructions

1. Launch your Web browser and visit the "QWOP" online game page.

2. Click the game window to start the game. Allow a moment for the athlete to settle in a standing position.

3. Press the "O" key to lift the left leg, making the athlete lean forward.

4. Press the "W" and "O" keys together to lift the left foot completely off of the ground. Wait a moment for the athlete to lean forward.

5. Press the "Q" and "P" keys together when the left foot lands on the ground to take a second step.

6. Press the "W" and "O" keys together when the right foot lands on the ground to take the next step. Repeat this step and the previous step to continue taking steps and building momentum, until the athlete is running.
