4. Avoid eating high amounts of acidic fruits and spicy foods. 5. If you are experiencing bloody diarrhea or vomiting and diarrhea at the same time, consult your doctor. Both of these symptoms are normally signs of a flu virus or more serious condition. Diarrhea causes for both of these can vary, so it's important to get it checked out as soon as possible.
