Reduce Weight Within One Month

Eat lots of vegetables.

Losing weight takes effort. The standard formula for weight loss is burning more calories than you consume. Drastic weight loss is not recommended, as it can be unhealthy and difficult to sustain. It is possible to reduce weight within one month. A healthy rate of weight loss is no more than 2 lbs. per week. Thus, approximately 8 lbs. should be the maximum amount of weight loss in a month.

Instructions

1. Spread out your calories among all of the meals. Take your calorie goal, which will be at least 1,200 calories, and divide it among your meals and snacks. This will keep you full throughout the day. It also balances blood sugar.

2. Eliminate all refined sugar from your diet--this means no ice cream, candy or pastries. This will help you easily lose weight within one month.

3. Fill up on low-calorie vegetables such as spinach and broccoli. According to Dawn Jackson Blatner, RD, spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, eating copious amounts of low-calorie vegetables will help you feel full and satisfied.

4. Step up your exercise. Even if you currently exercise, increase it to reduce weight within one month. One hour a day of moderate exercise is ideal. Aerobic exercise, such as running and swimming, will burn calories. Devote one or two days a week to weight training as well.
