1. Discover the Eifel Tower. Completed in 1889, this global landmark is now a famous symbol of French civic pride. Take a trip up to the observation deck to witness some of the most breathtaking views of the city.


2. See the Lourve, named Musee du Louvre in French. Considered the world's greatest art museum, the Louvre is home to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa in addition to a collection of unparalled items. Including art from the earliest of times, the Louvre's collection covers art through the ages.


3. Gaze at the magnificent Arc de Triumph. Since the historic days of Napoleon, this famous landmark structure has served as a symbol of victory for celebratory French troops.


4. See the famed Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Paris). This famous Gothic cathedral, a masterpiece of construction that began in the 12th century, stands on the Ile de la Cite. A landmark, religious and historic site, it's the symbolic heart of the city.


5. Stroll the halls of the Musee d'Orsay. This museum picks up in art history where the Louvre ends. It features French art from the mid 1800s to the 1st World War, and its galleries feature numerous artistic legends and masters.


6. Walk along the Seine, taking in everyday Parisian life. Go at your own pace, taking in the architecture, sights, sounds and culture that surround you.

8. Find peace and tranquility in Jardin de Tuileries, Paris' most central garden. It connects the Louvre with the Palace de la Concorde and creates a central axis between the Louvre and La Defense.
