Young kids seem to love to play in the rain. It can also be a lot of fun if you're just a kid at heart. Playing in the rain is a great way to lose yourself for an amount of time and forget about all of your cares.
Instructions
1. Dress appropriately before heading out to play in the rain. Rain boots and a raincoat, for example, may be necessary if the weather is cooler. If it's a particularly warm day outside, simply go outside without any shoes or socks on and enjoy the rain.
2. Find puddles and leap into them. Maybe the best thing about playing in the rain is jumping into the newly created puddles. You can usually find these at the end of your driveway or even in your driveway if it is not paved. You can also find puddles at the corner of a sidewalk or anywhere there is a dip in the ground.
3. Slide in the wet grass when playing in the rain. Obviously, the wet ground will make it easier for you to slide and you'll travel further in your slides. Make sure to wear clothing that you won't mind ruining if you choose to slide on the ground during a rainstorm, though. The grass and mud stains may not come out of your clothing.
4. Play sports out in the rain. Tackle football, for example, is a lot more fun when it's played during a rain storm. Soccer is another fantastic sport to enjoy out in the rain. Once again, be careful when choosing what to wear outside when playing in the rain if you decide to play sports.
5. Go for a bike ride in the rain. This is especially nice if it's hot outside. The constant rain falling down on you as well as the splashing cause by puddles and moisture coming off of the wheels feels great. You can also go for an off-road bike ride in the rain if you don't mind getting dirty.
6. Take a romantic walk with that special someone in the rain. There is something about being with your sweetie in the rain that just makes the experience romantic. You don't necessarily have to “play” in the rain in order to have a great time.
