Jillian Michaels
, the tough talking trainer from television's "The Biggest Loser" has brought her brand of personal training to the Nintendo Wii with "Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009." Players create their own in-game avatars and are then taken through workouts designed to help weight loss and overall physical fitness. Using the motion sensing capabilities of the Wii, the game tracks player movement to ensure a vigorous workout that include both aerobic and strength building exercises.
Instructions
1. Connect your Wii Nunchuck into your Wii Remote. Both controllers are needed to play "Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009." Select the game from your Wii main menu to begin.
2. Start a new game when prompted. Create a character by selecting your gender, weight, and clothing options. Once completed, you will be taken to Jillian's camp.
3. Follow the onscreen movements for a brief test of your skills. This will be done at the start of each workout to track your progress.
4. Choose one fitness routine to participate in by using the directional pad on your Wii Remote to select between weight loss, hill climb, intervals or strength training. Press "A" on your chosen routine.
5. Alter your routine to suit your needs by choosing an intensity between level one and three, with three requiring the most effort. Select a time frame for your workout up to one hour. Press "A" to begin the workout.
6. Mimic the motions made by the onscreen characters while holding the Wii Remote in your right hand and the Wii Nunchuck in your left hand. These exercises will include running, shadow boxing and balance beams among others.
7. Complete your workout and return to the main camp menu.
8. Select "Cafeteria" from the main menu to access tips from Jillian Michaels. Choose between diet and exercise tips.
