Plan A Wellrounded Workout

To be well-rounded, your exercise routine should commit to four basic principles of fitness. These elements are aerobic, muscular, flexibility and stability. Follow these steps to get the results you want.

Instructions

1. Run, swim, bike even dance, they all contribute to your aerobic health. Choose one or all of these activities as your aerobic exercise. Perform your chosen activity for 30-40 minutes, three times a week for maximum results.

2. Enhance the stability and strength of your muscles. Utilize free weights, machines or elastic resistance bands when you plan a well-rounded workout.

3. Pick a routine that includes more than one exercise option per muscle group, which will increase your strength and help you lose more weight through the building of muscle.

4. Introduce stretches before and after a workout routine to ensure that the range of motion you have is maintained or increased, while helping to make new muscle leaner and longer.

5. Perform sit-ups, squats and lunges to create a strong midsection or core. Strengthening your stability and balance, in the core area, will improve your posture and protect you from back pain.
