Repair the Ear Sock on Oakley Half Jackets
One of the nice things about Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses is changing the ear socks to accessorize with your wardrobe. If one of your ear socks gets damaged because of use or some other mishap, you can easily replace the ear sock and your glasses are good as new. This will also give you the option to change the appearance and color of your glasses if you like, but even if you preferred the old style, you can always replace the sock with the same color. Instructions
1. Hold the ear sock between your thumb and forefinger.
2. Roll the ear sock gently, while sliding the sock over the arm of your sunglasses. Continue this motion until the old ear sock comes off.
3. Squeeze a small drop of dishwashing soap onto your fingertips, and lubricate the naked arm of your Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses.
4. Slide the large hole in the new ear sock over the end of the lubricated arm.
5. Roll and slide the ear sock over the arm until it is snugly in place. If changing your color, replace the opposite ear sock in the same manner.
6. Rinse the arms under warm, running water to clean away the soap.
